Introducing the manic new Audi RS5! Just revealed at the Geneva Motor Show, the RS5 has gotten some serious upgrades even though it has ditched the old 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine.

Under the bonnet is a newΒ 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6.. Yep it’s much smaller and lacks a few cylinders from the previous model, but wait till you see some figures that will put your mindΒ at ease. Power is rated at 331kW (450hp) and if we’re talking torque, the RS5 reaches 600Nm! That’s 170Nm more than it’s predecessor, and it’s capable of reaching 100 in just 3.9 seconds, almost a whole second faster.

Top speed is 280km/h and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system will be standard with a 40:60 bias between the front and rear wheels. Expect the new RS5 to arrive locally later on this year.
