Starting at AU$143,900 (excluding on-road costs), the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV will be ready for delivery in Australian dealerships next month. It faces tough competition with the BMW M3 priced at over $4,000 less than the Giulia QV. Despite this, the Giulia QV remains almost $12,000 cheaper than the Mercedes-AMG C63 S.

Developed by Ferrari, the Giulia QV arrives with a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 putting out 375kW of power and 600Nm of torque along with a heck of a lot of bragging rights. Not only does the Giulia QV reach 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds (tied with the C63 S), it holds the lap record for a production sedan around the infamous Nurburgring.
