The updated 2018 Toyota RAV4 range has been announced, bringing a new range of equipment and safety technologies as standard across the range.

Some of the equipment and safety technologies include autonomous emergency braking, pre-collision system, satellite navigation, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control and automatic high beam.

Satellite navigation with Toyota Link apps, digital radio, automatic headlights, fog-lights, front and rear parking sensors, along with an upgraded 4.2-inch multifunction driver’s display are also included.

Standard kit on the top-spec RAV4 includes 18-inch alloy wheels, leather-accented trim, 11-speaker JBL audio, power moonroof and an electric tailgate.

The engine features a 107kW/187Nm 2.0L petrol for two-wheel drive models, a 132kW/233Nm 2.5L petrol for all-wheel drive variants, and the 110kW/340Nm 2.2-litre turbo-diesel with all-wheel drive.

2.0-litre Petrol 2WD starts from $29,450, the 2.5-litre Petrol AWD starts from $34,490 and the 2.2-litre Diesel AWD starts from $39,060
