Pricing and specs for the BMW X5 SUV have been revealed starting with two variants, the xDrive 30d and xDrive M50d, starting from $112,900 and $149,900 before on-roads.
The 30d featires a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel engine with 195kW and 620Nm, and a 0-100km/h of 6.5 seconds. It will be an all-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features for the 30d include adaptive LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, rear camera, front and rear cross traffic warning, lane keep assist, active cruise control with Stop&Go, Apple CarPlay and 20-inch alloy wheels with run-flat tyres.
The M50D will feature the same engine but with four turbochargers increasing specs to 294kW and 760Nm with a 5.2 second 0-100km/h time.
In addition to the 30d specs, the M50d will also include 22-inch M alloy wheels, soft-closing doors, four-zone climate control, front seat heating, BMW Laserlight with BMW Selective Beam, metallic Paint, lumbar seat support, M Sport brakes with blue calipers and the M Aerodynamics Package.
The M Sport trim will cost $4000 and brings bigger brakes, unique wheels, an adaptive suspension, a sportier bodykit and M-branded add-ons behind the wheel.
The new X5 will be available from November this year, with the X5 xDrive 30d starting from $112,990 and the X5 xDrive M50d from $149,900 before on roads.
