The Koenigsegg Agera RS now has the unofficial record of world’s fastest car, after it hit 457km/h on a closed road in Nevada.

Koenigsegg performed the run on a closed highway in Las Vegas with factory driver Niklas Lija behind the wheel.

The car reached a peak of 457km/h in one direction, and had an average speed of 447.2km/h – 11km/h faster than the Hennessey Venom GT in 2014.
