BMW Australia has revealed the Z4 will be offered in three variants, starting with the 20i at $84,900 plus on-roads.
The 20i will feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making 145kW and 320Nm, allowing it to reach 100km/h in 6.6 seconds. The 30i will use the same engine but with increased outputs of 190kW and 400Nm it will reach 100km/h in 5.4 seconds for $20,000 more at $104,900.
For another $20,000 at $124,900, the top of the range Z4 30i will feature the same engine as the Toyota Supra with a turbocharged six-cylinder engine producing 250kW and 500Nm, with a 0-100km/h of 4.5 seconds.
The interior features include a tyre repair kit, wind deflector, heated and electrically adjustable M Sport seats, two-zone climate control, DAB digital radio, a 10-speaker sound system, M leather steering wheel, LED headlights and interior and driver’s side exterior mirror automatic anti-dazzle functionality.
BMW’s Live Cockpit Professional system will be shown on a 12.3-inch instrument cluster while infotainment will be on a 10.25-inch display.
Safety tech includes BMW’s ‘Driving Assistant’ package with auto emergency braking, cruise control, high-beam assist and park assist.
The 20i will feature 18-inch wheels, heated memory-adjustable sports seats and climate control.
The 30i will get 19-inch wheels, M Sport brakes, digital key, active cruise control, adaptive suspension and LED lights.
The top of the range M40i will additionally include electronically controlled limited-slip differential, Harman/Kardon stereo, ambient lighting and other features.
