Toyota has confirmed the return of the Supra at the Geneva motor show after 16-year hiatus!

The Supra shares powertrains with the new BMW Z4, allowing them to split the costs. Toyota says the Supra will be a performance car for road and track and that โ€œRevealing a racing concept ahead of a production model highlights that motorsport is Toyotaโ€™s proving ground of choice for high-performance vehiclesโ€

โ€œThe GR Supra Racing Concept makes it clear Toyota is developing the Supra to be a true driverโ€™s car.โ€

โ€œThere has been huge public interest in a modern revival of the Supra legend, and this concept points to a sports car deserving of the famous name.โ€

Toyota does not has release date yet, however previous releases suggest it will be around a 12 month wait before the Supra is available.
