The new Cobra Jet will feature a 5.2L V8, based on the production car’s 5.0L, with a 3.0-litre Whipple supercharger. Ford also says it will reach a top speed of 241km/h (150mph).
Features include an adjustable-height two-way coil-over shocks, four-link rear suspension, anti-roll, stripped-out racing interior including a Sparco steering wheel, FIA-compliant seats, and racing wheels.
It will be available in either red or white and can be fitted with 50th Anniversary graphics and badging.
Production will be limited to just 68 cars with a starting price of US$130,000.
