The 2017 Hyundai Kona Is Now On-Sale locally starting at the Drive-Away Price Of $27,000.
The Kona comes with the choice of either a 2.0L four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 110kW and 180Nm with a six-speed automatic, or a 1.6L turbocharged petrol engine that produces 130kW and 265Nm with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, auto headlights, rear view camera with rear park assist, 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather trimmed steering wheel and a 3.5-inch digital instrument display are standard on the Active model. A safety pack for an additional $1500 is available featuring autonomous emergency braking with forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist and driver attention warning.
The Elite model includes the safety pack, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather trimmed upholstery, keyless entry and ignition, front fog lights, auto wipers and grey exterior touches.
The Highlander model features the additional equipment over the Elite of 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, front LED indicators, auto high beam. Head-up display, ventilated and heated front seats, heated steering wheel, wireless device charging and a 4.2-inch digital instrument display.
Pricing for the base Active starts at $24,500 in petrol and $28,000 for the turbo variant. The Elite petrol starts from $28,500 and the turbo from $32,000 and finally the Highlander petrol starts from $33,000 and the turbo from $36,000.
