The updated 2018 Isuzu D-Max range features interior tweaks, revised suspension and retains competitive pricing.

The LS-U 4×2 will start at $44,100, with the LS-T 4×2 for $46,900. The LS-U in 4×4 will go for $46,600 (manual) or $48,700 (auto) and the LS-T 4×4 auto for $54,700.

All variants will feature a 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel, with 130kW and 430Nm.

Isuzu have a five-year/130,000km warranty as standard, along with five years of roadside assistance, and capped price servicing.

Along with the amazing 3500kg braked towing capacity, the rear suspension is now a three-leaf spring (from five) for better ride comfort.

Safety tech includes ABS, ESC, traction control, emergency brake assist, trailer sway control, hill start assist, hill descent control, reversing camera, and six airbags as standard.

Interior tweaks for the LS-T include leather accented seats and an electrically adjustable drivers’ seat.
