• WEC Moves Fuji Race For Alonso:
The World Endurance Championship has moved the date of its Fuji round ahead one week. The reason for this move is to accommodate to Fernando Alonso, to ensure there is no clash with his F1 commitments. Jensen Button has expressed a negative position on this decision, stating that it’s unfortunate every other driver has to compensate for Alonso’s schedule.

• McLaren Set to Announce Deal with Dell:
McLaren is set to announce a new major sponsor in Dell Technologies in the coming days. The new long-term deal reaffirms McLarens ambitions to be a powerhouse in the current era of F1, and further contributes to an optimistic atmosphere around McLaren which has largely been spurred through the separation of McLaren-Honda.

• ESPN, Sky Sports, and Formula 1 Join Forces:
Liberty Media have ramped up their ambition to become a mainstay in the American Motorsport scene through a comprehensive schedule which sees ESPN and ABC set to broadcast Sky Sports coverage of F1 for all 21 races of the 2018 season.
