2018 Volkswagen Polo pricing and specs have been released with three levels avaliable.

The entry-level Polo Trendline gets a 1.0-litre turbo with 70kW of power and 175Nm of torque with a 0-100km/h of 10.8 seconds and fuel use rated at 4.8L/100km for the manual.

Standard equipment includes 15-inch steel wheels, city-speed autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian protection, tyre pressure monitoring, driver fatigue monitor, leather multifunction steering wheel, an 8.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a rear-view camera, bluetooth phone and audio streaming, two USB ports, cruise control, manual air conditioning, power windows, heated electric exterior mirrors, and a split-folding rear seat.

The Polo Comfortline comes as standard with a 1.0-litre turbo, developing 85kW of power and 200Nm of torque.

Additional specification over the base car includes 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, front centre armrest, and nicer β€˜comfort cloth’ upholstery.

Finally, the Polo Launch Edition will be powered by the same 85kW/200Nm 1.0-litre petrol as the Comfortline, but will also include 16-inch alloys, wireless phone charging, rear privacy glass, front fog-lights, and tinted LED tail-lights.
