The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 convertible was revealed overnight at the 2017 Los Angeles motor show. This is the first convertible Corvette ZR1 since 1970.

Based on the ZR1 coupe, the convertible features the same 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine, with 563kW of power and 969Nm of torque.

In prelim testing, the automatic ZR1 convertible has a 0-60mph under three seconds and a top speed above 200mph.

There’s also an optional ZTK Performance Package, which includes front splitters, an adjustable high-rise rear wing, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, and retuned suspension.

The Corvette ZR1 convertible is priced from US$123,995.
