New Details on 2019 Toyota Corolla

New details have been released for the 2019 Toyota Corolla range, ahead of the local launch in August.

The 2019 Corolla will feature a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It will output 125kW of power and 200Nm of torque and be available with a new six-speed manual transmission.

The latest driver-assistance technologies will be added to the Corolla, including autonomous emergency braking, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, among more. Additionally, LED headlights, electric park brake, and eight-speaker JBL sound system, will also feature.

“Corolla will remain very competitive and affordable in the Australian market – and we expect it to continue as Australia’s best-selling car, a position it has held for each of the past five years,” -Sean Hanley, Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Toyota Australia.
