Ford Australia have announced local pricing and specifications for the 2019 Ranger.
The entry-level XL Series will start from $27,990 will include an easy-lift tailgate, upgraded suspension, a full-colour rear-view camera with rear parking sensors, and interior trims. Additionally, other kits include 16-inch steel wheels, inner tie-downs, load rest, vinyl floors, power windows, automatic headlights, among more. XL Variants are offered in 118kW/386Nm 2.2-litre turbo-diesel and 147kW/470Nm 3.2-litre five-cylinder diesel options.
The XLS series, starting from $49,190, will feature new front parking sensors, 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog-lights, carpeted floors and front floor mats. The XLS option will also feature the Sync 3 Pack, adding 8.0inch colour touchscreen (with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, among more. The XLS range will only be available in a 3.2-litre diesel.
The XLT series, starting from $50,290, will feature a 157kW/500 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel engine, including autonomous emergency breaking and semi-autonomous parking if you opt for the Teck Pack. Included in the XLT is a restyled front grille, fascia and bumper, HID headlights, keyless entry with push-button start among more.
The Wildtrak, starting from $60,590, sits at the top of the range and is also available in a 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel and 10-speed automatic. It will feature revised frontal styling, LED fog-lights, a power-locking tailgate, semi-autonomous park assist, traffic sign recognition, among more.
