Honda has announced the release of the 10th generation Civic in style with the new Type R hatch prototype. Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show not long ago, the new Type R does not cease to capture the eye of all gear heads, whether they are hot hatch lovers or not. With 20-inch wheels, rear air scoop, extra hood intakes and smoked headlights, this hatch is undoubtedly hot.
Fierce competition such as the Ford Focus RS, Golf R and Audi S3 should be concerned when this pocket rocket enters the market. As should the likes of the Audi RS3, BMW M135i and the Mercedes A45 AMG. Although only a prototype at this stage, expect to see the new Type R hit the streets late next year.
